Deciding to get help is a healthy first step toward creating a better life. I create a supportive environment designed to put you at ease so that you can get what you need out of therapy and grow a better relationship with yourself and others. I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from therapy for depression, anxiety, and trauma, to sex addiction, couples counseling, and workshop experiences. I was trained in the Post Induction Therapy model developed by Pia Mellody at The Meadows. I use this model throughout my work to help clients make the connection between childhood trauma and adult dysfunctional relationships. In addition I run the Reconnection and Healing Workshop, which is based on Pia Mellody’s model for healing childhood trauma.
It was through my work with individuals and couples that I began to see people looking for help with different types of addictions. For over ten years I have worked extensively with individuals, couples and groups. I can help, if you are having issues with problematic sexual behaviors or are the partner of someone struggling with sex addiction.
I received my Masters in Social Work from Simmons College in 2003. I’ve worked at a community mental health center doing out patient psychotherapy and have been in private practice since 2010.
